Holy Trinity Chapel
Holy Trinity Chapel (sometimes incorrectly referred to as Trinity Chapel), located on Lantau Island's Discovery Bay (pop. 20,271 in 2016), is administered under the North Lantau Island division of Visitation Parish based in Tung Chung, along with Our Lady of Visitation Chapel (Tung Chung) and the Airport Chaplaincy (Hong Kong Internaitional Airport) since 1st November 2015 with a Parish Office located in Yat Tung. Prior to the decree in 2015, Holy Trinity Chapel was administered under Epiphany Parish based in Mui Wo.
Holy Trinity Chapel serves some 900 Roman Catholics living in Discovery Bay, half of whom are Foreign Domestic Helpers from the Philippines. The chapel traces its origins to the 1990s to a Ms. Ching who first organised Sunday Masses to be held at the hilltop Trappist Haven Monastery (referred to as Trappist Monastery; since renamed to Our Lady of Joy Abbey in 2000) which can be accessed via Nim Shue Wan Village along a coastline and up a hill or by taking a ferry from Kai To Pier to Peng Chau with a stopover at the monastery pier. The monastery is one of a few local producers of milk (Trappist Dairy) since the 1960s.
From 2006, priests from the order of Societas Verbi Divini (SVD; en: Society of the Divine Word) have taken over the daily administration of chapels on Lantau Island from the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI). The Parish Priests assigned in charge for a six year period have been Fr. Osvaldo G. Metz from Argentina (2006-2012), Fr. Henry V. Cabral from the Philippines (2012-2018), and the incumbent Fr. Chakkapan M. Mullackal from India (2019-2025).

Altar Servers
Children aged 10+ are invited to voluteer as altar servers to assist the Priest during Mass. Choir Come volunteer in the choir and lead the mass in songs of praise to give glory to our Triune God. Family Visit Services Our parish priests and deacon provide family visit services including blessing of the house, delivery of Eucharist, anointing of the sick, pre-marriage blessing, etc. We are now encouraging parishioners to make use of these services by filling in the relevant form (available at the entrance during Sunday Mass) or contacting our secretary, Ms. Ida Lam (3590 8017), for arrangement. Legion of Mary The Legion of Mary is made up of a group of volunteers who meet once a week and do 2 hours of weekly evangelical work and offering emotional support and comfort to those who are suffering. Pastoral Care Ministry The Pastoral Care Ministry brings the church to those who physically can't attend mass. We invite parishioners to volunteer their time to serve the sick and housebound and lend an ear to patients who are searching for God in their life situation. Sunday School Sunday School retells the teachings of the Gospel, Christ's love and His message to humanity through pictures, singing, and performing. Parents are invited to volunteer their time to teach the children. Youth Activities A great way for the youth to get to know others in the church and have a new set of friends.
